1 month ago - This library is designed to work with the Arduino Ethernet Shield, Arduino Ethernet Shield 2, Leonardo Ethernet, and any other W5100/W5200/W5500-based devices. The library allows an Arduino board to connect to the Internet. The board can serve as either a server accepting incoming connections ...
Are there any Arduinos with built in ethernet?
The YUN and Ethernet both have ethernet. The Ethernet model is literally an UNO with ethernet shield hardware integrated. The YUN is interesting in that it has a 400MHz ARM processor running Linux on board for ethernet and wifi duty. This allows you to offload things to the Linux portion of the board that might be too much for the ATMega to handle such as serving up web pages. It's expensive enough you'd be better off with a Pi0W and a regular Arduino if you have the space. More on reddit.com

The route that I'm about to take is to pick up a raspberry-pi and do a serial link between that and the arduino. for 55-60 bucks that will give me not only wi-fi but a whole host of options from apache to snmp support, etc al. More on reddit.com
Wifi Vs Ethernet Shield
FYI - Ethernet with an Arduino (either Wifi or Wired) is very very limited due to the lack of RAM. If you want to explore Internet connected devices, I'd honestly recommend a Raspberry Pi. More on reddit.com
