I want to get earbuds that I can use while in the shower, I heard somewhere that these are able to be used in the shower but am not 100% certain. I don't want to buy some then they break on me, especially at the cost

Last Sunday I ran a 10 k race with the Shocks Openrun Pro. The earphones worked fine during the race and afterwards too.
However, When I tried charging those it keeps making a beep sound and vibrates. I dried those charging ports and points keeping it next to a fan. Also rubbed those with dry cloth.
I only had it for a 2 months so beyond the return period at Bestbuy but raised a claim with Shockz.
It is highly disappointing and now I don't have a backup. Is there anyone with similar experience? How did you get yours' to work?
Hoping to get some help here. Should/can I use the openrun’s for lap swimming? Says not intended but says IP67 waterproof.
Any have OpenSwim’s and use for running? I’m doing a lot of cross training so want to get the best option but Openrun’s are a lot cheaper.
I just won a pair of open run mini at a 5K and I much prefer running with AirPods rather than bone conducting. I know the open run mini says waterproof but is it capable of being suitable for swimming? I’m also aware that Bluetooth doesn’t work underwater too well but wanted to try if it was possible. Will I just break them if I try? I know Shokz sells an openswim but I can’t exchange this one.
If anyone has an open swim they want to trade for brand new open runs that would be cool too 👀
I was thinking about getting myself a pair of openrun pro 2s now that they're on sale but I'm pretty confused. Why is the IP-rating of the basic openrun model better (IP67) than the pro model (IP55)? The pros are about 50€ more expensive (and have the better sound from what I've heard), so why are they worse in that regard?
And why are headphones that people like to use while running outside not fitted with a rating that would allow running in the rain?
Or do I misunderstand the rating and IP55 is perfectly fine for sudden surprise-downpours? If anybody has any experience with the openrun pro 2s, kindly let me know!
Edit: I asked customer support. Basically sweat and light rain are fine despite the worse rating, but rain showers not so much. It's good to know some of you have made the experience that they can endure a bit more though.
