We do Art Hub for Kids on YouTube.  They are all just one off videos but they have a good progression of skills.  I have to be about choosy when offering options to my kid to make sure it's in range with his abilities.  They offer mostly drawing, but some painting too. More on reddit.com

Bob "F@cking" Ross! He's great for teaching patience, acceptance, problem solving, and technique for landscape paintings. Love that guy! My grade 4 teacher, for art class, had a project for us kids. She cut an Incredible Hulk comic cover into about 20-30 pieces (about 2"sq, I think) and numbered them. She had us all choose a piece out of a hat. We were then painting the piece of the cover we chose on a 12"sq white piece of construction paper and numbered the back of our paper with our choice. I loved it! Some of us finished our pieces a little quicker than others and got to go up for another piece to paint. A few of us must have painted about 2 to 4 pieces. Then, when all the pieces were done and dry, we put them together in numbered order to create a huge Hulk Cover! You could tell the more talented kids pieces for sure, but it was still really cool! This is a good example of the internet being good for kids. Another example: I showed some kids Google Earth & Maps....like for instance this panorama of the top of Mt. Kenya in Kenya. They went wild for it, exploring the globe and learning all sorts of geography factoids they won't learn in school. Even better, they're now just more curious about the world in general.
