song from the Musical 'Wicked' composed by Stephen Schwartz

I’ve watched Wicked For Good three times now in three different cinemas. Each time as long as you’re mine comes on the screen, people (mainly girls) start laughing. I don’t get it. Why? Please help me understand. No one laughed during this song when I saw the musical.
After listening to the song many times since my first viewing, I always interpreted the song to be the scene where Fiyero and Elphaba make love for the first time as many others have also interpreted it.
With the films being an adaptation of the musical, do you think they’ll make this into an actual love scene and up the parental ratings or will they keep it as tame as as family friendly as they can be.
I am losing my MIND AT THESE NEW TRAILER CLIPS
They are feeding us so good with the as long as you’re mine sneak peek and elphaba + fiyero in his scarecrow form
Omg I already wanna cry
Elphaba literally lifts Fiyero up with her magic and floats him into her bed with her. 🫠
While they were singing, she was taking him by the hand, trying to lead him to the place where she sleeps. Because she wanted to….do the crossword puzzle with him. 😉
But instead he wanted to embrace her. So she just decides: ok, you can hold me, but I’m taking you to bed with me. So they begin floating up together, still in each other’s arms, and finally landing where she was trying to take him all along.
Smooth moves there, Elphie. I guess our girl was feeling Wicked.
