AFAIK - The 21st was the estimated date that orders would be sent out from the manufacturer. Sounds like you lucked out if they're shipping out earlier than that! I recently joined a drop that has an estimated ship date of April 22nd, 2018 (hope they ship early). I'm from Canada (BC) and have had Ascendia deliver a few items through Massdrop. Their tracking numbers rarely transfer over to the Canada Post or USPS tracking systems in my experience. I read the reviews and got worried when one item was shipping late, but it did arrive, just a week or two late. Can't speak to the duties item as I forget if I paid duties or not on my Massdrop orders. I feel like I'd remember paying duties on one of those orders. More on reddit.com

Royal mail was on strike, so at this point all carriers are back logged, not just Royal Mail (bc of this unexpected overload).
The seller is completely truthful by saying there's nothing she can do, and it's not her fault. Just be patient. Many many people are affected by this.

So it's my first time using massdrop, I'm a little scared, but this earphones I got are not available in Canada (for reasonable price) at all, plus it was a decent deal so I jumped on it. But I have couple of question.

Estimated shipment date used to be Feb. 21st, but massdrop says it just shipped out yesterday. According to massdrop FAQ, it takes about 1-3 weeks for it to arrive from the shipment date, so... now I'm a little confused. was the 21st estimated date of ARRIVAL? or was that supposed to be the date they ship it out but they got things sorted quicker and just decided to send it out yesterday, and now I just have to wait couple of weeks?

They are using shipping company called Asendia USA, which apparently works with USPS and Canada Post to get things delivered. Just like most 3rd party shipping companies, I dont see many positive reviews, but I'm hopeful from the sentence "Works with USPS/Canada Post"... Can anyone share experience with Asendia? I'm clearly not at a great start cuz the tracking number massdrop gave me doesn't work for shit atm.

so I know a lot of electronics are supposed to be 0% duties, does earphone qualify under the 0%? Everyone seems to use this as the source, but since it doesn't clearly say headphones/earphones, I'm not really sure if it can qualify under things like computer peripherals or speakers. Thoughts?

Are these the IEMS from Brainwavz drop? I joined the drop when it was live and received an email saying that due to large amount of buyers, there will be delays and whatnot (idk if manufacturer ran out or something) but lucky mine were shipped on the 31st of January. Asendia was initially responsible for shipping but now its USPS. Not long after, got an update from Asendia that my package has been enetered Canada with the expected delivery date on February 6th but I havent got an update from USPS if its been delivered or not
