after i read all of the nightmare global posts in the forums i decided not to use it and instead use regular priority international through pirateship. the cost is roughly twice as much but i pass that cost on to the buyer so it doesn’t matter to me. if i lose some orders because of it, so be it. i’d rather have an order arrive in a couple weeks vs. 2-4 months and have angry customers and open cases. even though i don’t use it, i have been collecting notes from posts. maybe some of this will help you: from this reddit post: “How to send an actual tracking link to a customer To get an actual tracking link, first go to Etsy, and click the tracking (find where it says "Global Postal Shipping" on the order receipt and click "more details"). I mailed an international package to New Zealand on June 27th, buying a shipping label via Etsy and therefore I assume their partner Asendia. I haven't seen any updates since August 11th so I've been trying to contact their customer support but they wont contact me back or answer the phone number provided. Do you guys have any tips on how to possibly contact their support or get more info on this? This was the last straw and now I'm getting labels directly from USPS instead and just saw an order get delivered to Germany in 5 days for the same price, so forget Etsy's shipping partner that can take 3 months on average.
