Checked my evri app today because i got a notification that a parcel is ready to collect and i see another parcel on the bottom of the page from "Asendia inbound" no idea what this is and nothing i ordered recently is through evri. searched my emails from it and its there too? what even is asendia inbound, could it be a family member that just sent something to me?????
I'm a seller based in the US and I shipped a package to a customer from Czech Republic at the end of March. The last update that I got was on April 9th, where it says the package "departed Asendia facility. And that's it.
The customer has been messaging me about the package every week, but there really isn't anything I can do. I tried contacting their customer service multiple times with no response. There is not even a tracking code that I can use to find out where the package is. I looked up their usual time for delivery to Czech Republic from the US, and it said 6-21 days, and it's been more than two weeks past that. Of course I understand there are delays due to COVID, but I wish they at least gave us an update about where the package is.
I decided to give the customer a partial refund, but I still really hope it makes it safely because I put my heart and soul into making my products😭 I really wish there was something else I can do at this points, but I guess we can only wait this out.
TL;DR: I learned my lesson and will never use Asendia for international shipping again
