Asendia sucks for international shipping
Issue with Asendia Shipment to Germany – Parcel Stuck at Pick-Up Point
Any Europeans have experience with Asendia shipments from USA?
how long does it take to ship from US (east coast) to europe (Belgium) and why has my order "Departed Asendia Facility" for more than two weeks?
I have had this problem while shipping art internationally during covid. Especially since there's the new thing where Etsy has international shipping sort facilities. I had two pieces sit in a sort facility for three weeks, when they were headed to Germany from the US.
It is most likely way out of the control of your seller. It is a sign of the times we are living through. Your seller is likely already stressed out that the postal service is such a dice roll right now, too.
More on reddit.comI'm a seller based in the US and I shipped a package to a customer from Czech Republic at the end of March. The last update that I got was on April 9th, where it says the package "departed Asendia facility. And that's it.
The customer has been messaging me about the package every week, but there really isn't anything I can do. I tried contacting their customer service multiple times with no response. There is not even a tracking code that I can use to find out where the package is. I looked up their usual time for delivery to Czech Republic from the US, and it said 6-21 days, and it's been more than two weeks past that. Of course I understand there are delays due to COVID, but I wish they at least gave us an update about where the package is.
I decided to give the customer a partial refund, but I still really hope it makes it safely because I put my heart and soul into making my products😭 I really wish there was something else I can do at this points, but I guess we can only wait this out.
TL;DR: I learned my lesson and will never use Asendia for international shipping again
Hi everyone,I need some advice. I have a customer in Germany who hasn't received her parcel yet. It was shipped using Asendia US service, and on the Printify order page, it shows that the parcel is available for pick-up. I've already reached out to Asendia's customer support but haven't heard back from them.I gave the tracking number to my customer, but she mentioned there are about 30 pick-up points near her, and she's concerned she might not be able to find the package. Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation, or does anyone have suggestions on what I should do next? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
