This is the first time a package of mine has been shipped using Asendia to the UK, and I'm just wondering if a 6 day pause between scans is normal. I emailed and spoke with them over the phone yesterday and she ensured me all was ok and this was normal. Any thoughts?
Screenshots attached. It's a 1lb .03oz in a small 6x6x4 rectangle box.
-I shipped it out the 26th of July.
-USPS handed it to Asendia the 29th of July.
-Asendia scans it as departing the US July 30th -Today is August 6, 6 days since the last scan.
Hi all,
I ordered a package from the US, delivered by Asendia USA. On the 5th of Feb, I received a notification hat the package has been delivered. I have not received anything, yet.
I am a bit confused. I don't think Asendia USA performs deliveries within the UK. So another UK company must probably have picked the package to deliver to my place. I have not received any information about that. So, now, I really don't know what's going on. Why is it taking so long? Is there a chance the package was delivered to the wrong place? What can I possibly do to track the status of the package within the UK?
Thanks
Edit: So it turns out that the Royal Mail left the package at some neighbour coffee shop and they never sent me anything. I asked the US company and they sent me the Royal Mail tracking link which contained the information.
I ordered a parcel from the US to the UK and it was shipped by Asendia, tracked. The parcel was sent on the 13th of September and last updated the 17th saying it was dispatched by US carrier. It says no estimated delivery date and doesn't say if its left the US or where it could be at the moment.
I know due to the pandemic it may cause some delays but does anyone know how long it normally takes to get a delivery from the US to the UK through this company? The parcel is a Tshirt so not heavy goods.
Anyone have any experience with them and how long is a normal wait with them?
I recently placed an order with a fairly large company and noticed that the courier they’re using, Asendia, has a horrific reputation. My package has been stuck on ‘dispatched’ status for over a week now, without any new updates. I’ve heard this is typical for the courier but I have no clue when to reach out to the original company for a refund or something similar? I don’t know how long I should wait to see if I even receive the package in the first place which seems to take multiple months, can anyone give me like a general idea as to when or even if I should reach out to the og company for a refund? :(
Anyone Shipped with assendia (i know i spelt it delibirately) this few months? Do they really not update their tracking? Mine has been on "shipment information received" since dec 19, and no updates till now? Tho it might be due to hollidays which i understand, but no updates? The onle semblance of uodate i got is label created on dec 24........ Anyone had news from them?
Hi, I have an item that's from US to UK. It says in transit. Does that mean it's in transit to Switzerland or in transit to UK? I'm confused as it says it was in Switzerland. Then the US. And now Switzerland again. Also why does a UK bound parcel go to Switzerland at all????
The royal mail/other tracking systems hasnt updated me in 4 days either. Is that normal or is it stuck in customs?
Sorry, I'm new to tracking info.
My package has been stuck in transit since 10 days, so i want to know if i should be worried or everything is alright?
Hey all just wondering if anyone’s used asendia for sending / receiving I’ve no updates in 12 days is this normal just hoping I ain’t been scammed I don’t even have a delivery date?
UPDATE: I received the book! I had to talk to Amazon to see what was going on. The book was in perfect condition, but yeah, Asendia is bad, very bad as a shipping company.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask you about your experiences with Asendia. I have never heard about this shipment company, but apparently, is one of the worst.
I ordered a boom from amazon usa to Spain, my country. Yeah, with the Trump taxes maybe was a bad idea, but amazon usa was the only one that had the book properly and sold the book by itself instead another seller. I couldn't find in any other amazon site, at least not new or sold by the proper amazon. Amazon used Asendia to ship the book, and according to them, it should arrive by 11th december, but is funny cause if I look the Asendia and Amazon tracking, is in Netherlands customs (and has cleared it), so arriving to Spain should be a piece of cake, but the book is in that country since 28th november. I asked Asendia why the book hasn't left Netherlands and they answered me "because is lost in transit". First time that happened to me with Amazon.
I wanted a second opinion so I contacted amazon and they told me that everything is fine and the book should arrive on 11th december.
So, my question is, besides if anyone has had experiencies with Asendia, this has happened to you too? And you could get the book despite the "lost in transit" warning (I mean, a refund is sure to get, since if I don't get the book by that date I will tell it to amazon, but I am really interested in that book)? And most importantly, why Amazon is using that shipment company instead pf dhl like in amazon japan (I pressume the price of their services, but man, amazon japan with dhl is a mortal combination when it comes to speed and trust, at least in my case)?
Thank you in advance. I will update this thread as long as I get some new info from the shipment.
Update: Finally is in my country! It is in a shop that they use as a reception for amazon orders.
Bought jewelry off Etsy and it's arrived in Australia Nov 20 but hasn't moved since. No phone number for Asendia. I've emailed them multiple times and their responses seem to be from AI and not actually helpful. I've called Aus post but they don't recognise the tracking number, same with customs. Have lodged enquiry with Aus post Seller says I can get my money back after Dec with their insurance.
I'd love to actually receive this package. Any other things I can try?
I ordered an item from the US (I'm in the UK) and on the 26th I got the "dispatched by US carrier" but I've read multiple horror stories about Asendia. I don't need the item for any particular date, it's a gift for myself, but I'm wondering how likely it is that I will just not receive the item at all and what i should do if that happens?
I recently bought some electronics from the United States and the only option for shipping to Australia was USPS via Asendia. Ignorantly, I assumed that it would be delivered by Australia Post since I have received packages and letters sent with USPS that were delivered by Australia Post. However it turns out Asendia uses Aramex/Fastway for last mile delivery. At this point I’ve accepted that there is a high chance I won’t be receiving my package. If you are buying anything online and they have the delivery option as Asendia change it or use a different online store that doesn’t use Asendia.
I've ordered a booster box from a UK seller, I'm tracking the shipping and it says "The parcel is in transit to its final destination" from Asendia UK (Hounslow) on the 15th of this month, so I guess the package reached the pickup point thanks to DPD and Asendia is going to delivery it to a local delivery company. I've read a lot of negative reviews and complaints coming from 3 to 5 years ago, how much am I screwed for a package not coming this week? Ordered it on 13th november
