AYUDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, en mi MBO aparece el codigo de error 4d y ya revise todo los componentes y estan en excelente estado, Tengo como procesador un
Ryzen 5 3600
16 GB de Ram 2666MZ
Mainbord Steel Legend B550
RX5500XT
Fuente de poder 650 Plus gold
Built Nov. 30th, X870E Taichi Lite, 9800X3D, QVL Listed 2x32 6000/30 Corsair Vengeance RAM, XMP Enabled, SoC Voltage 1.185, SoC/Uncore OC Mode Enabled, No PBO or other OC settings enabled.
I've now had 2 anxiety-inducing issues snice updating from 3.12 to 3.25. I usually leave my PC on all the time while at home and only turn it off when I'm going to be out of the house for some time. A couple days ago, while the PC had been on for a couple days, I turned my TV on and had no signal. No idea if it was completely locked up, but it responded to the reset button, booted up fine, and then ran for another 2 days without issue.
Last night I shut it off before leaving for work. I get home this morning turned it on, got a signal and the ASRock logo on screen... and then it froze. POST Code was 4D, which is not listed in the manual. I did notice in the bottom right corner a suggestion to hit F2/Del for UEFI or F11 for boot menu, which I'd never seen before. Got nothing out of F11, didn't try going into UEFI.
Full power down and switching off the PSU for a while got things running again, but I've read people were doing this on occasion just prior to their CPU's dying. Though, I at least had a signal on screen and the message in the corner leads me to believe it was just having some trouble with my boot devices?
Anyway, curious if others have seen this sort of behavior on 3.25... and if someone could tell me what 4D means I'd be much appreciative. It'd at least give me a place to start.

Forgot to update, I've been using the CPU and RAM on a gigabyte motherboard for almost 6 weeks with no issues so far. x870e nova RMA still in process.

9950x3d + x870e nova + XPG Lancer Blade 2x16 6000MTs. I've been using 3.20 bios since I built the pc on march 13th
I can get into bios but as soon as I try to boot to my nvme or windows media usb it gets stuck on the logo with code 4d.
What I've tried:
- Clear CMOS
- Downgrade bios to 3.16
- Unplug everything except CPU and 1 ram
- Removed CPU to check mobo pins and everything looks good
Hi all, I've had my computer for several years now. About a month ago I started having issues. Upon rebooting, the computer wouldn't post and I would get 6 beeps on the motherboard. Dr. debug gives me a 4F code followed by d0. D0 is listed as CPU initialisation error in the manual. After giving it some rest and coming back, the computer turned on. I've had no issues when the computer is on, but every time I restart, I'd have the issue again. Today I had to restart and I can't get it to come back at all. Same errors as before.
I've taken it all apart and disconnected everything except the CPU and one stick of ram and I still get the same code. I'm wondering if either the CPU or the motherboard is done for.
I can't remember all the specs, but I'll list them the best I can: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Intel Core i5 (can't remember model) Corsair HX620W modular power supply 4x G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3-1600 4GB Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950
I'm not sure where to go from here. I haven't changed anything that would affect this. If anyone has any ideas on how to get it up and running again, I'd really appreciate the help

Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.
Building a new PC. Can't get BIOS to display. LED on the motherboard shows D4 or 04.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
Breadboarding my system. With only mobo/CPU/cooler I will get 5 long beeps from the speaker. When I insert my RAM, there are no beeps and the mobo hangs on the error code 04/D4.
Provide any additional details you wish below.
24 pin and 4+4 pin have been quintuple checked. Have tried every combination of 1 and 2 sticks of memory in all 4 slots. I bought another set of 2x4GB sticks to do the same with no luck, but they are the same line of memory so I may have goofed that test.
Was recently using my computer and decided to put it to sleep for the night. The next morning I wake up and try to turn it on nothing on the monitor pops up and I see the red glow from inside the case saying something is up. I check it and get the d6 error. I then go through my normal troubleshooting routine.
-
Restart
-
Turn off and wait
-
Clear CMOS
-
Remove CMOS battery
-
Test multiple monitors and TV's with other computers
-
Remove power and sit, for multiple months
With college coming up I want to solve this issue. I do not have a graphics card, so that removes those potential issues. I was running the Intel HD4K on an 3570k OC'd to 3.9ghz.
For reference, the d6 error is something along the lines of no video output attached.
I have had no real issues since the completion of the build in July of 2012.
My two options seem to be buy a GPU (I'll need it for solidworks, and was going to get one eventually anyway) and run it (assuming I can actually install the drivers without a screen) or buy a new MoBo or try and RMA the currently defective one.
Does anyone have a solution to the error either way? Or am I going to have to bite the bullet and shell out some money for new parts.
Thanks.
