June 17, 2023 - People generally refer to LED codes as POST or error codes and any audible codes as beep codes. Basically, All beep codes are POST codes, but not all POST codes are beep codes. ASRock Dr. Debug codes are POST codes used by ASRock motherboards.

Thank you! I have to say I'm blown away by Asrock's customer service. Their bios changes and lack of certain features is frustrating but overall I'm very impressed by this company. I believe they lost some key people in recent years so I really hope they can recruit more developers and OC'ers to focus on getting everything polished. I don't think he'd ever do it but if someone like Vince from EVGA went to Asrock that would be really exciting. More on reddit.com

Dr Debug red leds
No clue about that code , but to turn off the Dr. Debug display , in BIOS look under advanced/South Bridge config . Toggle Dr. Debug . It should still show as the machine boots ,but as soon as it hands off to the OS ,it should go dark.

There is a missing option in the ASRock X670E motherboard BIOS, which would allow you to shut off the Debugging LED upon startup. This is available on older boards, but not on my X670E Taichi. Instead, it currently reads out the CPU temps all the time by default. Thankfully, I reached out to ASRock and with some help, got a program that solves the issue and is now downloadable directly from ASRock's website.

Download, unzip, and run this program: https://download.asrock.com/TSD/Desktop/Tool/DBGLED.zip This will shut off the LED. Run again to turn it back on.

Follow these steps to run it automatically at startup. I set mine to run upon workstation login from the Task Scheduler (accounts for going in and out of sleep mode). https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12491364/how-to-run-application-exe-before-windows-startup
If you're curious on how this program was acquired and why it is safe, see my post here. There is no word on whether or not this will become a feature in a later BIOS update. Currently tested on X670E Taichi (Carrara) with BIOS v1.18. From my understanding this should work on all ASRock AM5 boards, but I can't confirm that. Feel free to comment below with other confirmed working mobos/bios's.

Is there a way to turn these off after booting up? Im left with an F8 on mine, not sure why, or what this means "F8 - Recovery PPI is not available ". Is there even a way to make them disappear till you need them.

Since you are booting to windows successfully... *Curiosity also killed the cat. ... Some codes are not described as some manufacturers are not using them but most are the same regardless if you have ASRock, MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA or anything else.
