Yes they have them, its just their website is messy...click this link then follow instructions below: https://www.asrock.com/mb/index.asp Scroll down to where it says +Chipset in the left pane, and click the select box for Z690, then in right pane select your mobo. In the window that opens, scroll down a bit to where it says, "Overview Specification Support Where to Buy".. ASRock Z690 Pro RS w Intel i7-14700. The BIOS was version 12.07 dated 2022/11/21. I successfully flashed the BIOS twice to more recent versions. However, each time, the system was unbootable (could not boot to windows, nor a USB recovery drive). SO, I re-flashed the BIOS back to 12.07. System... More on forums.tomshardware.com

If I'm not mistaken, renaming to creative.rom is only needed when using the flashback option, not for a regular update from within the BIOS. At least, that's how it works on my X670E boards (MSI and Asrock). More on reddit.com

Ive not done the BIOS update for about 2 years on my Phantom Gaming 4/d5 mobo running on 16.02 beta. I decided to finally update to 18.01 (most current with all micro code fixes) but had a hard time updating. In the past when I updated i just saved to my ssd unzipped and as creative.rom and tried instant flash but it said no file. I then turned around and did everything to a fats32 usb drive but still said no files. Then moved the USB to mobo I/O but still saying no files. After those 3 failures I resorted to try flashback. After letting it do flashback it finally updated to 18.01 with no issues and I didn't do anything different. Has anyone else had a similar experience while updating the bios whether it be asrock or any other brand?
