I've been struggling to get the Packager to work. I got it to package up a Large Platform B by moving it around the periphery until it seemed that I hit some sort of "hot spot" and the button turned green. The Packager then fixed in location and I could press F to package.
I cannot get it to work on anything else. Is there some trick that I'm missing, or is it just not working properly? Is there only certain things it works with?
BTW, for anyone who is curious: When I packaged the Large Platform B, it had something on it (Soil Centrifuge), and it simply popped off. I assume the same thing would happen to all slots on anything you package up.

Take things off the platform then place the packager over them and it should float above them. then just package it

Be careful, when you package an item near a gateway chamber there is a chance that a packager box will stay floating in the air, and you cannot pick it up, or do anything with it.
Resetting the game does not help.

That's an odd one. Could you please send us an email bug report to support@systemera.net with as much info as possible? Please include which platform you play on, your in-game username, and a description of the problem encountered so we can try and recreate and figure it out.

If you put the packager on a slot, it will just occupy the slot and wont do anything so putting it on storage units to repack them probably wont work unless you can get to the bottom of the storage unit.

It def fell through the ground man, its in the first cave layer beneath you. They are working on a fix for this but thats where it is! Lol

you place it on the thing you want to package (Not on a storage slot, It'll light up green on top if it can package what you've placed it on) and then activate it. You just put it somewhere on the thing you want to package.

Almost every medium sized item or larger can be repackaged. So you'll place the packager on the item and press F (or your activate button) to re-package the item. So it goes into a box, just like if it was printed and never opened. Fun fact, also works on the medium research samples and debris too if you want to transport more at once. Packager is a one use item, so once you open the item again, you'll need a new packager to wrap it up again :)
