March 6, 2024 - Hello BF is a memory error code. Remove the CPU and check for any bent or damaged socket pins. When remounting be sure the cooler is evenly but not overtightened. Also check the the board is not being bent/flexed from improper mounting.

I have had a few motherboards, particularly Asus, that fought me all day long but decided to cooperate after giving it a long 'time-out' without power. The endless cycling seems to be a BIOS issue. A search of 'Asus Q code bF' brings up a bunch of info with other people experiencing similar problems to yours.

May 19, 2016 - When you set it up and get overclocked failed. Bypass this with the Mem ok button on your board. then enter bios and give you Ram mre Voltage (this is what causes this issue [BF]) . March 6, 2024 - Funny, I have the same memory and get this same code occasionally. It only happens when I leave the computer asleep for several days. Eventually I go to turn it on and find it shut off. When it boots it hangs on "bf" code. Trying to reset it doesn't work. But evenutaly realized if I just kill the power switch and turn it back on it boots just fine.

September 21, 2016 - Hi Chronioum You may need to clear your CMOS although this should have been done when you updated to latest version. Qcode bf means there was an issue during memory training and you need to tune the system in Bios to get it stable for POST. Also: 32GB at 3000MHz is a lot to ask of your IMC.
