Hi, I have an Asus TUF B650 Plus Wifi motherboard and want to build my first pc. I now heard my friends talk about Bios Flashback. Can someone tell me what that is and how and why I should do it?

It's a backup of bios, usually being use to reset the system that cannot be start due to radical overclock setting, electricity being cut off during bios update, buying a new CPU but forgot update bios before it and has thrown the old one away. If you can prevent above things from happened, you probabily won't need it.

Great, good to know. My question is, can I take out the USB Drive that is plugged in right now that I tried these steps on? The solid green light is on, and I'm wondering if I can just pull it out without causing any damage to the motherboard.
Pretty sure a solid light means the procedure didn't start. The light should be OFF when it's done.
You can shutdown the system. It's fine. The BIOS flashback didn't work or should I say didn't start.

June 9, 2024 - Well I went and got the bios file loaded it onto the usb stick and tried to recover the bios but after many attempt's I decided to go on the net and googling why ASUS Bios Flashbaack wasn't working and thankfully a youtube video was up and it showed the guy using the Bios Flashback feature and also mentioned something I have never heard any youtuber mention until that time and it was that the usb stick must also be converted to MBR GPT will not work.
