I’ve been getting an American megatrends error screen on my laptop relating to the cmos or bios battery. I can not find the battery, I assume that it is with the main battery but there is one screw that I need to loosen that won’t budge in the top left corner of the hatch that covers the battery.
I own an asus model Q406D notebook, any help is appreciated.

There's not one. If you need to reset the BIOS, simply unplug the main battery. Gently slide the metal top of the connector up towards the top of the laptop and then use your nail (or something plastic) and pull out the white wide connector from the GND side up - black wires. Don't use a lot of force, the connector is kept in place by a gentle click. Assembly the opposite way and don't forget to lock the connector once you're done. Good luck :)
