Hello I am considering purchasing a laptop and am a sucker for good design aesthetics. Looking at the 4070 32gb ram for work, occasional gaming, some light video editing.

From reviews on reddit Ive gotten a mixed of it gets high temp/ hot even when doing light tasks and some say its quiet and cool when doing basic browsing on silent mode.

What has ur first hand experience been like?

Hi everyone, first of all, I know this question has been asked so many times before, but I want to ask again here hoping to have a clear answer to help my decision.

The thing is, I will be going to college this fall, and I need a good but portable machine, my decision is G14 2024, but since the CES, I also target the G14 2025 5070ti 32gb

I see that the G14 4070 32gb is usually on sale on Bestbuy and I think I will grab it the next time it's on sale (around 1600$-1700$). But do you guys know exactly when will the 2025 version be on sale?

If the G14 2025 5070ti 32gb on sale, how much will that be?

And will the G14 2024 4070 32gb go even lower later?

I know the best time to buy a new laptop is now when you need it the most, but I have my desktop at home here, my consideration is because I want to get the best price out of it.
