I'm attempting to buy a ZOTAC 4070 Ti Trinity, and it does fit in my case (and I think it's compatible with the rest of the components) but I'm not sure if it will be compatible with my current CPU and MoBo, or if should I upgrade the BIOS or buy a new mobo.
Has anybody tried? Oh and let me know if I'm missing some information.

Yes, Nvidia 5000 cards are fully compatible with any motherboard including B550's. The card will work SLIGHTLY slower as the motherboard has PCIE 4.0 ( sightly slower), and the GPU has PCIE 5.0 (slightly faster). More on reddit.com

You do not have to worry about motherboard compatibility with GPUs. As long as there is a PCIe x16 slot, it'll work (and there is one on this board). There are different variants of the PCIe x16 slot. Your board supports the 4.0 standard, but the card is built around the prior 3.0 standard, which means the board will not throttle this GPU. Yes, most motherboards will run most modern GPUs. There is only really one standard (ATX / PCIe x16). Make sure your PSU can supply enough power - Nvidia recommends 650 w or 750 w for a 3070. Another big concern is to make sure that you don't need the PCIe slot that the card will block - the 3070 is at least a 2 slot card, meaning the PCIe slots lower on the board will be blocked (if you have a wifi or audio card, for example).

this mother board has a pcie 4.0 x16 slot on it. the graphics card is a pcie 3.0 x16 plug-in. lucky for you pcie is backwards compatible. this means, yes, it will absolutely work.
