I plan of getting this motherboard for my NZXT h510 case. Is there a slot to plug my Usb-c connector on this motherboard?
I have the NZXT H510i case and Asus x570 Prime-P motherboard. Build already assembled and works great! But my front panel USB type-C is useless due to no header on MB. I get really confused by all the different USB gens/numbers, so I need someone to assist. Will this adapter work to convert?

I believe I have one USB 3.2 Gen 1? header available on the MB.

So I have a Prime X570-Pro board and recently purchased a new iPhone that uses USB 3.2 Gen 2 (aka Type-C) for fast charging & data. I hooked it up to my PC and while the phone charges, data transfer does not work.
Thinking it may be a cable problem I tried the same setup on my Dell laptop and everything worked fine.
Has anyone else experienced this issue on an ASUS X570 board? How did you get the rear USB-C working correctly?
I found one other post about this issue but it was not very helpful: https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/ev98fl/usbc_only_charging_on_tuf_gaming_x570plus_wifi/
This has been driving me insane. Randomly, usually while gaming, all of my RBG, mouse, keyboard, headset, would all lose connection for 1-3 seconds and continue working. This would happen ever 5-20 min or so... Was driving me nuts! After multiple days/weeks of troubleshooting, I came across a thread suggesting forcing Gen 3 PCIe in BIOS. I did that, and amazingly enough, it hasn't happened over the course of a couple hours now.
Apparently this is an issue specifically with Nvidia 3xxx GPUs and Zen 3?
This is my first AMD build in decades and I'm not too sure who's at fault here...
I don’t hear many people talk about this motherboard so it’s hard to find opinions on.
I'm thinking of buying this board for an upcoming build with ryzen 5600x and rtx 3080/big navi.
How do I ensure that the board is running the correct bios version for the new cpus?
Should I purchase a ryzen 3100 to update the bios and then return the 3100? Thanks

My goal is 4k HDR 120fps, so I probably will be GPU bottlenecked, which is why I chose 5600x.
I built this about 3 years ago and fried my mobo swapping graphics card. It's not easy doing research on my phone.
Ryzen 9 3900
2tb Sabrent Rocket
Rtx GeForce 3060
16gb x 4 Ram gskill trident neo
Wifi card
Im not worried about overclocking in fact it's not a good thing for Audio production. Something that will take thunderbolt card would be nice cause my audio ,interface supports it.
I have like 10 USB midi controllers Need ethernet for a avid controller And 6 sata spinny hard drives for storage.(Might upgrade those as well)
Idk if I should be looking at specifically x570 or is there something newer now that is cheaper and can upgrade CPU down the road. (Not having any issues handling things now not sure I will)
Not much of a gamer upgraded graphics card from 1050ti cause I wanted to play a few games. Using a highsense 75inch r6 as monitor. And 23 inch dell touchscreen mounted to desk.
Budget is 200 for mobo right now after just dropping 300 on GPU and buying a 200 Ableton push 2.
Any help would be appreciated. Probably looking to buy on Amazon cause I need to get back up and running quick and need overnight free shipping.
I just built my pc about 2 weeks ago and I have just started using my Oculus Quest 2 link cable. I have noticed that it was not lasting as long as it did when I used my old laptop, down from over 8hrs to barely 2. I checked tried all the usb-c ports and none charged it. I have an Asus -Tuf x570 PRO. I have tried different cables and ports but nothing is charging it. Is there a driver or setting I'm missing or is there something I didn't plug into the MB
If anyone else has had this happened and fixed it would be a great help.
Hi everybody,
I haven't seen yet an review of this mobo so it may help people interested in setting up a rig with that mobo.
My rig:
- asus PRIME x570-P with 4-pin+8-pin EATX and 24-pin EATXPWR connectors all plugged
- ryzen 3700X with stock wraith prisme cooler
- 2x8Gb g.skill trident Z RGB 3600-CL 16 (F4-3600C16D-16GTZR) in A2,B2 slots
- sapphire 5700XT 8Gb on second slot (farthest from the CPU)
- SSD Sandisk 512 Gb (DHL screwed up on the corsair MP600 gen4 I've ordered, so more info later)
- corsair obsidian 500D
- corsair HX850i
- Acer XF240H (DisplayPort)
I set up all the stuff and to make it quick:
- I had to find a 4-pin EATX cable (not provided with the corsair HX850i). Luckily, I has a spare in a mobo box.
- I had to replug the RAM sticks one by one
- I managed to get a booting screen with HDMI firstly, not displayport !
- I updated then bios firmware to 0807 version with UEFI bios update utility (through internet, very easy and straightforward)
- I've changed RAM settings to stock (DDR4 2133->DDR4 3600)
- Windows 1803 OK on SSD (OS already installed)
- I migrated to Windows 10 1903, installed AMD chipset 1.07.07, radeon software 19.7.2,
- Can't boot with fedora core 30 (kernel 5.1.16). I will wait for kernel 5.2.
- the PCH fan is inaudible
- The UEFI is clear and I set up the fan curbes at silent very easily
I'm extremely happy with that rig. It's quite silent while streaming or surfing and it's damned quick and stable.
- some benchmark indicates 4,366 Mhz peaks, not bad for a stock CPU
- a bit noisy though when stressed with metro exodus (many more to come) and benchmarks but my next step is an EK or HydroX custom loop (GPU+CPU) as soon as GPU WB will be available (end of july for EK, so…)
