How can I install just the RGB software?
You could try using the older ASUS app Aura Sync and see if that works. I was having issues with Armoury Crate and my TUF B550 Plus, and did some digging and installed Aura Sync. Here is the link for it, it is at the bottom of the page in red text, it says “1.07.84_V2”. It may or may not work for your board since yours is newer, but might be worth a shot. Edit: Can confirm this works on a TUF B650-Plus WiFi. More on reddit.com

Under Utilities there is an AI Suite 3, which I think comes with their fan program. Run the auto setup routine in that program and it should give you some good fan curves. Hello,
I just bought an Asus ROG Strix 670E-E motherboard. As far as I can understand, I am expected to install Armoury Crate to control the led strips connected to the motherboard. However that software installs a bunch of apps and services I have no need of, creating bloat.
I have tried OpenRGB but it causes a hard crash on this motherboard. Simply RGB requires a user account. I want something simple to set a solid color. I wish the bios had a simple control.

you could just ignore RGB / turn it off the Armory Crate software is a bunch of junk that has quite a lot of imbecile services - I dunno what ASUS' thinking lately but I opted to not use their junk and use Fan Control to control the fans as for RGB .. fuck RGB

Built a PC today and have everything going. I really only have NDVIDIA Control panel and everything is working fine. The thing is my PC has all the fans flying at once even though all I'm doing is browsing the web and nothing extreme. I have the ROG Strix X570-E Gaming and want to use all the customization given on the website ( https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-Strix-X570-E-Gaming/ ). I can't find any sort of download, and don't know if I have to download specific drivers when I do download the software. Any help? Thanks.

Asus has some of the best hardware but there software is straight ass. Armory crate never works 💩. I invested in all Asus Rog parts on my build and performance is excellent but when it comes to updating drivers or trying to use Aura Sync just forget about it. Used to work just fine but i feel like updating just makes it worse
