Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Ram Compatibility Question
Is the GTZR variant on the QVL? If it is, there's no difference other than heatspreader paint job so it should work.

Has anyone here tried to use F4-3600C16D-32GTZN G.SKILL 2x16GB ram with the board in the title? It isn't on the QVL, but its 2x8GB little brother kit is. Do you guys think it will work?
Just ordered a Rog strix x570-e gaming to pair with my 5900x (both purchased at MSRP). My question is, with my current RAM, Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) 4x8GB, will I run into boot issues? I noticed 4x8GB isn't supported for this RAM on the QVL, however, my current build, an 1800x paired with a Crosshair Hero VI, has no issues running in this configuration, although I did have to slightly overclock the RAM
I guess, more or less my question is, is anyone else running with this board, cpu, and 4x8 RAM that isn't supported according to the QVL?
The manual for my motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING says it supports up to 128GB total RAM, but also says that "you may install 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB unbuffered DDR4 DIMMs into the DIMM sockets". So I really can't upgrade and install a 2x32GB kit for exemple? I found the QVL tables a bit confusing, but the ones I looked up didn't seem to have memories larger than 16GB...
PC Lover but clearly not equipped with the brain for hardware upgrades....please help!

I currently have 32GB of RAM installed and working -- 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB) -- this is what came with the PC when I had it built for me by a well known online company... At the time of buying I asked advice about upgrading RAM at a later date and was advised I can push it to 128GB of RAM total, fast forward 16 Months and here I am today typing this up. Yesterday I received delivery of the following -- 64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 32GB) -- I've plugged it in and it's not working in any form of combination or arrangement of RAM at all. Literally tried everything.
Investigating around Google led me to Pangoly.com - compatibility search via QVL ticks, doesn't show this RAM as compatible and further reading of the motherboard manual isn't clear if it can take 32GB sticks. I am starting to think I can only have a maximum of 64GB RAM which is a disappointment.
I need some clarification because whilst PC building isn't my strong point, I figured just sticking some RAM chips in can't be that hard...yet here I am asking strangers for help. So here is my questions.
-
Whats the maximum RAM (or fastest) I can have on my motherboard?
-
Would this --> https://pangoly.com/en/review/corsair-vengeance-lpx-64gb-4x16gb-ddr4-c18 be compatible with my motherboard? (It's 3600 which is faster) - (it wasn't QVL Green Ticked but it was B-Die Green Ticked and I have no idea what that means).

If you have advice for a better RAM set up and are certain it's compatible with my current build please advise. It's not for gaming, I work in Premiere Pro, After Effects and various 3D packages.

Also I noticed in the BIOS that my RAM shows on the Hardware Monitor as 2133MHz and also in Task Manager it shows as 2133MHz, it is labelled physically as 3200MHz...what is that about?
P.S. I am still pretty new to posting on Reddit and I'm somewhat autistic so go easy on me please.
Hello everyone,
last month I build my first PC and started with 32 GB of Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16-16-16-36 memory (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839473/F4-3600C16D-32GTZN-Overview). Last week I got myself a second kit, but couldn’t get it running at 3600 MT/s).
Now I am looking into buying a complete 64 GB Kit and for my mainboard. ASUS does list compatibility for a few Trident Z Neo 4*16 GB kits (https://rog.asus.com/de/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x570-e-gaming-wifi-ii-model/helpdesk_qvl_memory) with the fastest one being this:
https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562840280/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNCTrident-Z-NeoDDR4-3600MHz-CL16-19-19-39-1.35V64GB-(4x16GB)
This kit does have 16-19-19-39 timings. But G.Skill does have a 4*16 GB CL16-16-16-36 kit (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839857/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZN) that they claim works with the Strix X570-E Gaming.
Does anyone on you use this particular 64GB CL16-16-16-36 kit successfully with an ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II?
Tl;dr: ASUS says a 64 GB G.Skill 64 GB. CL16-16-16-36 kit (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839857/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZN) is not compatible with the ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II. But G.Skill says it works with the Strix X570-E Gaming. Can you say if it will work or are you even using this kit successfully?
Thanks a lot to everyone for your help!
