Has anyone here tried to use F4-3600C16D-32GTZN G.SKILL 2x16GB ram with the board in the title? It isn't on the QVL, but its 2x8GB little brother kit is. Do you guys think it will work?
Hello everyone,
last month I build my first PC and started with 32 GB of Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16-16-16-36 memory (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839473/F4-3600C16D-32GTZN-Overview). Last week I got myself a second kit, but couldn’t get it running at 3600 MT/s).
Now I am looking into buying a complete 64 GB Kit and for my mainboard. ASUS does list compatibility for a few Trident Z Neo 4*16 GB kits (https://rog.asus.com/de/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x570-e-gaming-wifi-ii-model/helpdesk_qvl_memory) with the fastest one being this:
https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562840280/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNCTrident-Z-NeoDDR4-3600MHz-CL16-19-19-39-1.35V64GB-(4x16GB)
This kit does have 16-19-19-39 timings. But G.Skill does have a 4*16 GB CL16-16-16-36 kit (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839857/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZN) that they claim works with the Strix X570-E Gaming.
Does anyone on you use this particular 64GB CL16-16-16-36 kit successfully with an ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II?
Tl;dr: ASUS says a 64 GB G.Skill 64 GB. CL16-16-16-36 kit (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839857/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZN) is not compatible with the ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II. But G.Skill says it works with the Strix X570-E Gaming. Can you say if it will work or are you even using this kit successfully?
Thanks a lot to everyone for your help!
Just was looking at different mini itx boards to choose from for my upcoming SFF X570 build and saw that that the ROG Strix X570-I Gaming - Mini ITX can support up to 64 GB RAM? Is this something that all the mini itx x570 boards will support?

I assume it'll be the same as the Asus Z390i, using the double capacity DDR4 by Zadak.
"ROG Strix Z390-I Gaming features a unique memory-trace design that supports up to 32GB per channel for a total memory capacity of 64GB. With double-capacity UDIMM modules, ROG Strix Z390-I Gaming delivers four-DIMM memory bandwidth in a compact, dual-DIMM design".

It supports 64GB, the thing is, they’re real expensive.
