r/PcBuild on Reddit: ROG Z11 Build Completed!
November 28, 2022 - Rog z11 with dual 240ml liquid cooling : r/sffpc (reddit.com) I was going to do a ASUS rog hyperion g701 build, but I generally prefer smaller case and was thinking selling my EATX mobo for mini itx one and use the Z11 as its perfect size but if I can't get two 240mm radiators to fit, then ...

For fans of water cooling, Z11 offers ample space and the option of a custom liquid cooling loop. Adding style to substance, internal build components are beautifully illuminated by Aura Sync lighting that can be seen through the front and right-side 4 mm gray tempered glass panels. ... Optimized airflow and superior thermal performance are critical in high-powered systems with compact form factors, and ROG Z11 delivers this with a patented interior layout that tilts the motherboard tray at an 11° angle, providing an additional 40 mm of space at the back of the motherboard.
Has anyone done a build is this case and if so were the thermals good? Asus ROG Z11
I like mine a lot, I've been building computers since way back when you could start buying components and I think only 1 case company existed. That said, building in this wasn't easy and wasn't a fun kind of challenge. Between my builds and ones I did for neighbors, friends and customers. I've probably built in 200 cases. This one required me to read the manual, like really read it. Getting 1 of the side panels had a random screw that made me almost want to throw it out the window before I even started the build. Cable management sucks and is a nightmare, my Evga ATX PSU was literally like a hair too long so I had to fiddle with the shroud, my thermals are really good, but I don't have a video card in it yet and I know I'll be limited there. If you're the type who needs to plug and unplug shit from the rear IO this is one of the worst cases ever. You have to remove multiple screws and take 2 panels off to get to the ports. And if you don't route your USB/HDMI cables just right they'll scrape again the fan blades. I use the front USB so that doesn't matter to me. But the few times I've had to get to the rear IO it was a hassle. This is a terrible design, but looks super clean when you get it dialed in. This is a super well-built case, one of the best build cases I've ever owned. The machining and fit and finish absolutely make it feel like it's worth the price. I mean the original price. At $50 there's nothing even remotely close to as nice. But it's not practical at all being the biggest ITX case that'll probably ever exist. Like big for no reason, but I love the aesthetics, and it was the best Asus case for my all ROG build. Which isn't saying much since ASUS doesn't really do cases lol. Oh and I think it's the 1st case I've built in where the window's on the right side, which still throws me off. The original price was absolute madness, I bought it Dec 2022, when Asus had marked it down from $279 to $149. So I thought I was getting the deal of all deals, but now it's $50 lol. If you have patients, don't need to move the case around and don't need access to the rear IO. You won't find anything with this build quality for anywhere close to the price. It feels worlds better than the Corsair I had, I don't remember the model. But it was a $150'ish one. That felt like knockoff junk compared to this. Would I recommend this case? For $50, if you can deal with all the quirks, sure why not? Or better yet, look elsewhere and don't be like me and do a silly themed build. But IMHO this + ASUS ROG Strix Z690-I + ROG Ryujin 240 AIO looks really slick. And the thermals are great my 13500k never gets above 95f. More on reddit.com

The ASUS RoG Z11 case is a super unique ITX enclosure that dares to do things differently for a price. It has a ton of features and airflow considerations that haven't been tried before so ROG needs to be applauded for trying new things. But does that make the Z11 ITX case the best on the market? Well not really since the Z11 dimensions and other elements make the installation, cable routing and PC build ... More on hardwarecanucks.com

Something for Asus fans: a complete ROG build in the Z11 case - HWCooling.net
November 17, 2020 - It is the ROG Z11, which the manufacturer introduced at the beginning of the year at CES 2020. The case hides several specialties, such as the possibility of vertical and horizontal positioning or a slightly curved motherboard tray. To make matters better, we fitted the case more or less exclusively with ROG components, thus creating a kind of full-on Asus build.

This case has seen price drops as low as 90% percent off because it is terrible for hardware selection, airflow and ease of building

Trying out the ASUS ROG Z11 Mini-ITX Gaming Case with ARGB Control (2024)
January 2, 2024 - The compatibility with ATX power supplies and up to five fans or a 240mm radiator suggests that ASUS didn’t cut corners on ensuring this case is ready for powerful components. Admittedly, the beauty of the ROG Z11 is not without its quirks. The internal I/O layout led to some challenges during my build; the rear motherboard IO access was particularly tight and could have been designed with more ease of access in mind.
