I’ve looked up videos but none seem to help me out. When i download the file off the Asus support page for the motherboard there is a file called “BIOs Renamer” or something like that. No video seems to tell me what to do with it, maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place. Someone please help.
Also I’m updating my BIOs because I cant play games that use Easy Anti-Cheat, because they crash my PC. I was told it was due to and outdated BIOs but if someone has a different fix please tell me. Thank you in advance :)
Edit: I’ve updated my BIOs and I can now run games that use Easy Anti-Cheat!

I believe you just double click on the bios renamer and it will rename it for you. Also OP, i had the same problem with easy anticheat crashing my PC and updating my BIOS fixed it.

September 28, 2021 - Download it on another pc, or in your phone, unzip it there, and copy the file. sometimes when a browser or the os mess up with download it could causes it. my friend having similiar issues with downloading the bios on his pc, but i downloaded the same file from the mobo web page in my laptop in his home internet, it worked. Also for asus, choose the biosname.cap that came from the web itself (without renaming) if you're not using bios flashback

March 18, 2022 - Only reason I have x570 is because it was all that was available, when Zen2 launched. Honestly, unless you got a really good deal on that CPU, a 12700f would have been a better choice. ... It may or may not. Depends on how old of stock that board is. I would recommend a different board, that has a bios flashback feature, so the bios won't be an issue.
