I have a TUF x570 Pro. It's a solid motherboard, and the additional features it provides, particularly USB BIOS Flashback and WIFI6, make it a solid upgrade over the Plus mode. The price difference is pretty minimal - only ~$20 more for the Pro version over the Plus.

The one thing that probably slipped under your radar is that the "WiFi II" version doesn't use an Intel wireless chipset like the original model does with its AX200, but instead has the Mediatek MT7921. I've been doing a bit of Googling on said MT7921, and the results are not pretty. This might explain why ASUS explicitly enumerates the AX200 WiFi adapter by name on the original version's page , while only obliquely referring to an unnamed "2x2 Wi-Fi 6E" adapter on the WiFi II model's page . Fuck. Literally the one thing I've been mildly miffed about my Tuf X570. Particularly being in an H510 where there's only a single traditional USB port to go with the USB-C port. Oh well, phenomenal board and I'm sure the updated version will be just as good.

Yes the 3000 and new 5000 series CPUs (non-APU versions) will work on this motherboard but you will have to install a video card into the PCI Express slot and hook your monitor to the video card as this motherboard does not have onboard graphics. Don't buy a AMD CPU with integrated graphics; you can get twice the performance buy buying a GTX 1050 ti video card. If you are on a budget and don't want to spend a lot of money on a graphics card then you buy a used GTX 750 ti card; it will still be about 50% faster than the integrated graphics on the AMD CPUs.
