Could somebody clarify why the ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A is so expensive ($340ish), especially for a ddr4 motherboard? is it the various "ai technology" integrated within, or is it something as simple as overall reliable build quality that insinuates "you get what you pay for"?
Do you guys have any recommended lga1700 ddr4 alternatives, that preferably would also fit a white color scheme (as I am trying to make a white build). Or do you guys think this mobo is worth it, esp for something a bit higher end (like a 4k gaming rig)
Ty and I appreciate the help

I’m looking to build a PC with the Intel 13th gen i7-13700KF. I was curious if this motherboard (priced around $240) was a good pick for my build with this processor or if it could potentially cause some bottlenecks?
I like the look of the motherboard (white) and the RGB as well, but I do mostly care about performance. Could the motherboard create a bottleneck for ram as well? Would this one?
If anyone has a motherboard under $300 or a really good deal under $400, I would also appreciate those recommendations if this one isn’t that great.
Editing to add I want to get DDR5 Ram, if that could help determine a potential bottleneck.
