I got a new job and I need to find nice business casual outfits. I spent a long time the last few days checking out all the stores in our mall and surrounding area. I even asked employees for help but most were not able to find me a pair that fit well.

I'm 5'11" ~185 pounds and athletic build.

I always thought I was a 32/32 but it turns out my waist is much smaller, 30 or even less. My butt is big and made me think it was a larger size.

If I go larger size pants, the legs might fit but the rest of the pants are way too big. And I don't want to use a belt to compensate for pants that are not the right size. I also broke some belts recently trying that route and it isn't working. My current belt doesn't have the metal clip and simply pulls tighter. But I'm constantly tightening it.

Elastic isn't a great solution because as the pants stretch, you can see the outline of other things and I don't find that very professional. I know there will be some stretching but I also don't want skin tight pants.

The closest I found so far were at old navy and American eagle. AE had "athletic straight" which is more room in the thighs. But they taper at the knee and my calves are too large for it. Then the boot cut had more room for my calves but the thigh was too tight. They don't have a combo of the two types. Old navy jeans did not fit at all, but I found a pair of 31/32 chinos that fit OK enough that I got them for now. I would like to find something that fits a little better still.

Also, if you have suggestions for shirts I would appreciate it too. Medium is the right size for me but my shoulders/armpit are too wide for them. Large is too baggy and doesn't look professional. I found a "medium long" that fits nicer but that seems hard to find.

Where do you get dress pants if you have big legs? Have tried on about 5 pants at Zara and Uniqlo but all too tight
