Decided I wanted to study around and try to find my favorite type of architecture, I came across mid century modern and it really stood out to me as a classic beautiful style that I've always favored. I tried (and succeeded) to create this house and it ended up really nice. I'll have to update once I finish furnishing tonight but here's the pool area and I'll make sure to make a family that suits the house too for action shots. What do you guys think? Anything I could improve on? I really wish there were angled windows in Sims 4 like the ones on the roof in the floor plan picture. It’s not my favorite type of plan aesthetically or practically.

The view from the street is a garage and a rather forbidding dark enterence. Visitors need to walk past the bedrooms to get to the social area. There’s no privacy or sound buffering for the master bedroom. And the living room is dark even though there’s plenty of green space and a long outer wall. For some reason there’s a fireplace blocking the light.

I’d have probably gone with an L shaped foundation with the bedrooms in the long up down wing and a fat great room on the short right left wing. And the garage where they join. That way guests can go right to the social areas and the bedrooms are quiet.
