Starting last weekend, Autogeek.net has started their end of the year sales. Today they're having a Buffer Sale with up to 25% off Buffers and Accessories and Free Shipping on orders over $99 (Use Code: SHIP99).
They also have a free bonus only listed on their forum. If you order ANY polisher put this note in the comments box "Merchandise Credit" and you'll receive $25 store credit for your next purchase. If you order a Griots 6" Polisher you get a $50 store credit. I ordered over the phone and the credit was immediately applied.
I talked with someone there and their sales should be changing daily up until Cyber Monday, so keep an eye on newsletters to get some deals.
I bought a 6" Griots Polisher with 6 Free CCS Pads for $129.99 and got $50 store credit. Then I placed another order for a compound, polish and sealant and saved big time.
New detailers that don't have polishers but have been wanting one, this is a good time to pick one up!
Could someone explain to me how good of a value this is? I'm relatively new to detailing so my sense of an awesome deal isn't solid enough for me to confidently pull the trigger.
I know tech and construction material values really well, so if and when I see a good deal, I'm confident enough to snatch it up in an instant.
Trying to do a little research myself and I see this 6" Griots Polisher is selling for $99 on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Griots-Garage-10765STDCRD-Random-Orbital/dp/B0042KHPJS).
I'm genuinely curious for any advice you guys have - I'm a self-admitted noob to this stuff and trying to learn.
