August 13, 2024 - Using AWS Marketplace Catalog API, AWS Marketplace sellers can programmatically manage their AWS Marketplace products, offers, and other entities. Previously, when using the Catalog API, sellers had to deal with freeform JSON payloads, which required manually constructing JSON data to convert it to strings before sending API requests.

In this post, I showed how to use the Catalog API to update your container listings in AWS Marketplace. I showed how to update product details, describe the update status, add a new container version and image repository, and describe container details.

For Agreement API, use the SearchAgreements, DescribeAgreement, and GetAgreementTerms actions. The change set ID returned from the StartChangeSet action can be used to retrieve metadata and the latest update on the offer.
