In your case, the S3 pricing model is based on 3 things: The total amount of data stored. The number of requests. The amount of data transferred. For a website, the cost for the amount of data stored is normally small compared to point 2 + 3. Work out the number of requests and look at the pricing calculator: https://calculator.aws/#/ Cloudfront costs a little more when comparing like-for-like with S3, but you get the benefits of a CDN. It depends on your audience if that is worth it for you. Normally I would say that you could look at client-side caching headers to reduce your cost, but since the number of visitors and pageviews is so similar (i.e. most visitors only request one page), this isn't going to save you much money in this situation. There is no API for the AWS Pricing Calculator.
There is an AWS Price List API that can provide pricing for individual resources, but you would then need to multiply the individual costs based upon intended usage (eg 12 hours @ $0.10 per hour).
