Answer from jitensh on community.spiceworks.comMicrosoft Azure Partner of record vs Cloud solution provider (CSP)
Can you describe what your CSP does and what your expectations are of your CSP?
Hosting Customers in Azure under CSP Account
I don't host in Azure but I believe each customer must have their own tenant as per M$ terms. You can still control and handle all the billing through CSP.

Hi all,
For last few month we are getting calls from few Microsoft partner to add them us partner in azure portal
So, we thought will check for the advantages and disadvantages while upon investigation
I am getting little confused on Partner of Record vs Cloud solution provider (CSP)
My question is
- what is the difference between Partner of Record vs Cloud solution provider (CSP)?
- If I add them as our POR or CSP what visibility they have in my azure subscriptions?
- Do you prefer adding POR or CSP?
Any help appreciated
Thanks,
Nihal
I am curious to get some real world feedback on what services your CSP actually provides for you as part of the agreement. Is it simply billing, support, and licensing? Are they very proactive in the environment and making recommendations on resources and cost savings? What has been your experience?
