I might be looking for a unicorn but before I give up, I thought I’d ask here.

I’ve searched all over reddit, googled with Boolean operators, used google lens, and still no luck. I’m very particular about my pants AND I live in Australia, so even if I find something, it could very easily cost a lot to ship here or the company won’t ship here at all.

I want pants which are/have:

• high rise

• rip proof

• water resistant/repellent, but breathable

• zip pockets (prefer front zip pockets, but as long as there’s at least 1 that’s okay)

• loose fitting (especially in the hip/thigh)

• draw-string waist

• beige/tan (preferably, but if everything else is fine I’ll take another colour)

• not convertible to shorts

• nice enough that I could wear them walking around the city or other situations

Long list, I know 💀 I’m not going on any extreme or long hikes, but I do want some protection from light rain and rips, and zip pockets to protect my belongings.

I would love to get the Athleta Trekkie joggers and size up so they’re looser, but sadly they don’t ship to Australia :( Closest I could find so far are the Lululemon Convertible Hi Rise Hiking Pants, but they’re still not right and I would prefer something that isn’t convertible. I also don’t really want to spend so much on something that doesn’t tick all my boxes
