Disclaimer: I am still searching for the right ‘cool-sleeping’ weighted blanket too. The most promising type looks like a knitted weighted blanket. Maybe try to see if researching that type of weighted blanked could be a good fit! They have some on Amazon or ‘premium’ ones from Bearaby and other websites. I think I’ll try Bearaby’s Tree Napper when they are back in stock. I’m nervous though because they are expensive and I have seen mixed reviews. Yes, holy cow they do. Obviously each person is different though, you know?? I used to use a regular comforter and would always sweat and I would get frustrated in the winter because I couldn’t add layers for the weight I love. I decided to try this weighted blanket expecting to sweat too but it’s literally cool to the touch and I don’t sweat as much as I used to. I also use bamboo sheets but I can’t find them to buy anywhere now so i’m assuming they’re discontinued. But as long as they’re 100% bamboo, they’ll be cooling. If I wake up hot, because that’s a given sometimes, I roll to the other side of the bed and it’s freezing cold. I keep my room at 70. It’s amazing. edit: I’ve used several cooling toppers, they’re definitely cool to the touch but I found they ruined the feel of my memory foam bed. here and here

Hey everyone. So summer is just around the corner where I live and I want to get a weighted blanket for the warmer weather. Some things of note.
1: I currently sleep under 2 or 3 comforters for the weight. 2: I only want about 10-15 pounds (enough weight to feel secure but still be able to move around comfortably) 3: I want a smaller size because I'll be sharing a queen size bed with my husband but won't be sharing the blanket and it drives me bananas when the blanket gets pulled off the side of the bed. 4: We don't have air conditioning, so the more cooling, the better. 5: we have cats and have to use a communal laundry, so it needs to be easy to wash and dry.
I've been sort of looking at the luna bamboo, the YnM bamboo and maybe the Bearby lyocell one. Are any of these good options or would you guys recommend something else.

I’m new and reading reviews on weighted blankets.
My body produces a lot of heat when I sleep, so I wanna shoot for what’s considered the most breathable or coolest weighted blanket.
It seems I wanna look for bamboo? Possibly a cotton mix.
Any advice would be great

I recently did some personal research on this topic recently that I'll share. As reference I was used to a 15 pound amazon basics weighted blanket , that worked alright in the winter, but already too hot for summer months. I posted some additional woven knit options in this thread . And if money was no object, I would go with the Silk & Snow. Cooling Blanket Options (that are not knitted) YnM Bamboo - this is the one I ordered. I switched from 15 to 12 pounds. Initially it is cooler, but I still wake up hot.
