I purchased many clothes from Banana Republic many years ago. This was back in the 2000s or so. I read people say almost all Banana Republic Factory products are not good quality... is that true or false? The old banana republic clothing I have from years ago that I still have and do find it decent.
So I notice Banana Republic Factory Online has some huge sales for male items. The issue is not only is it a big discount.... there is like another 50% discount at the end. So if the 2 items total say $60 after the discount, well now it's $30 or so because there is another 50% discount. Now obviously the retail price of the items is inflated but with the final discounts, it's literally like more than 70% discount off an item.
Those items that I'm looking at does total around that price range. The thing is it does say they are final sales and no returns or exchanges. They do have it at the size I want. My questions to this are
If the item or items are damaged or have stains or something legitimately wrong with it, does that mean I'm stuck with it and can't get a refund? I don't mean like it doesn't fit or don't like how it looks or the color. My concern is it might have spots or damage? How often does this happen?
Is the reason for these low prices is because they just want to get rid of inventory? My concern is these are many customer returns of that same item due to something wrong with it. Or that isn't usually an issue? Like imagine a pair of pants or shirt but there might be a stain or hole in it.
Free shipping is $50. So if the item is $60 and now 50% off is now $30, then you still get free shipping? Went to checkout and it seems like I can place order and it would work. The thing is... is it possible the order doesn't get through though because of the really low price? I'm surprised because it's literally like over 70% off retail price for an item.
Do people here go to the store and try the item and if they like it, they go back home and order it online and then either order it shipped to their home or for pickup especially for items that has no return or exchanges? I read it usually takes 2 hours for pickup so if you try the item at that store and it's good, you can just place the order on your phone and then come back later same day if you have time? Do poeople do this?
Is shipping pretty accurate? It shows 3-6 days for standard and that is free. Usually you receive it on the last day right? But I read if you buy items heavily discounted, the order might not even go through?
Thanks.
