Liza Minnelli performed "Copacabana" on The Muppet Show in 1979 in a bit that visualizes the song with Tony and Rico as Muppets. Kids could handle a lot more back then: Tony indeed gets shot, and we shift scenes to see Minnelli (as Lola) drinking herself into a stupor as she's lost her mind. Manilow played up the camp factor to the hilt during his live performances.

December 3, 1985 - He shines in his songs "Sweet Heaven" and "Who Needs to Dream" and there are nice snippets of him playing some of his album-cut classic tunes as a piano bar performer throughout. The movie itself is a nice way to spend about an hour and a half of your time, but is necessary viewing for all Barry Manilow fans.
