My daughter keeps showing me pictures online of campsites lit up by battery (I'd assume these aren't electric sites) string lights. They seem bright for a campsite, and some are even colored which seems insane to me, like are y'all throwing parties in the woods now or something? lol
Whenever we go camping, we relied on an older Coleman propane lantern that has yet to fail us as well as our campfire, and a simple basic, battery powered flash light if we have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. We only recently decided to "upgrade" to rechargeable headlamps instead of taking the bulky flash lights.

I haven't seen any either; although apparently (I was looking yesterday on Amazon) there are several 'waterproof' led strings that people use for outdoor applications which 'can be' rewired to instead of being through a power brick converter to home current, through 12v. in the Q&A section the response I saw to something like that wasn't to wire it to a plug; but to wire it so it would get power from a standalone battery.

If there's a Big Lots near you they have a ton of lights for great prices, alot of time on sale for even less! :) I've been using the same ones from them for a couple of years now and they're still going strong.
