March 9, 2024 - I use corded grinder for most application, if I need to make a quick cut, the cordless is perfect for a piece of rebar sticking in the road, something quick, not worth setting up extension cords etc.

January 5, 2024 - I recently bought two Bauer 4 1/2" grinders from Harbor Freight. 20 volt. One with brushes, one brushless. Then I bought adapters to use them with my Dewalt batteries. The brushless definitely has more power and lasts longer on the battery.

February 9, 2018 - Yes, anything that runs constantly will eat batteries.. for short jobs, not an issue. For reference, the fuel grinder with a 9.0 battery will run about 45 min under a load. I'd guesstimate you'll get 15 min or so with a 3.0 on the Bauer with constant use.

They pretty much all look similar. I agree with jgayman's comment about they're so cheap you can just consider them a (disposable) rental. ...
