Did you download LACT from the discover store? I did that initially and had the same issues as you. If you haven’t already, delete lact and then try installing through the Terminal ujust install-lact After I did this I was able to enable overclocking with no issues. Hi! After multiple attempts at trying to install LACT on Bazzite it seems like it ain't "compatible"? Whenever you click the "Enable AMD Overclock" it gives back a text box with one or two errors, I've read the Github explanation about a Boot Parameter solution, but when I go to edit the Grub file it doesn't even have the parameter that I'm supposed to add, when I added it manually it's like nothing happened (even after re-building the Grub file), so my understanding is that it ain't compatible yet? (Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the Boot parameter? It seemed a bit complicated)
Anyone else had this issue?

I had this problem, too, and what worked for me was uninstalling and reinstalling lact, then running the update. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bazzite/comments/1kipk1a/error_while_updating_bazzite/ This thread goes over pretty much what I did.

Hey guys, Im new to Bazzite and Linux in general. I have a pc with Bazzite (to use Steam), Ive been updating every month or so with ujust update but now Im getting this error. I also used rpm-ostree update but same thing.
Is it because of lact? If so, how do I make it ignore it? If its not lact, what could it be?

November 7, 2024 - I ended up having to download the rpm file for LACT from their git and then run the following in terminal: rpm-ostree install lact-0.5.6-0.x86_64.fedora-40. Rebooted and it installed finally for me.

I do know that you have to use the terminal not like in Windows or Mac to install software. But it just does not work.
