My fiancé (25M) and I are getting married in October in GA. It will be a beach wedding with a reception at a country club afterwards. Expected temps around 70s. I need help picking out attire for him since he isn’t formal at all (and he and his mom are insisting it be more formal wear for him.)
He is a huge country boy, that mostly wears his work uniform or Guy Harvey/ camo/ country and western wear, so this has been tough. His version of dressing up has been button up shirts with good dark jeans, cowboy hat, and boots for a long time. I’m thinking a tan linen/ wool blend suit like the pictures attached but to keep his personality and style still attached I’m thinking a cowboy hat and getting him a nice pair of new boots (also attached some inspo pictures). Just need suggestions, ideas, really any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also attaching a picture of him “dressed up” for his brother’s high school graduation. Last photo he has the heart emoji sticker over his face.
Getting married in Cabo in April. Not a beach wedding, but at a beachfront resort so tropical formal is what we're going for. Groom (me) is wearing an ivory dinner jacket and tuxedo pants, so fitting the tropical formal theme. Colors for the wedding are basically no color, so bleached flowers, pampas grass, some blush tones in table runners and candles, but all very muted natural tones. Groomsmen are a mix of body types, so nothing is a one style fits all. I'm trying to figure out what to have groomsmen wear with all of that. Everything seems wrong, so tell me where I'm overthinking this:
Neutral linen suits feels too informal alongside what I'm wearing.
Black suits or tuxedoes feels almost too formal and may be too warm.
Matching me with ivory dinner jacket tux would mean rentals with extra days, so expensive and rarely look very good.
What options do y'all recommend for something like this?
