I’ve been a Beats Fit Pro user since day one. Now mine are starting to have some issues the wingtips broke and had to be glued back, battery life has dropped, and they occasionally disconnect on their own.
After seeing the new release, I recently tried both the Powerbeats Fit and the Powerbeats Pro 2, and honestly, I have mixed feelings.
The new Powerbeats Fit feels like it replaced the Beats Fit Pro lineup but without any real major upgrades. The wingtips are softer and shorter, but the fit feels a bit less stable. On the other hand, the Powerbeats Pro 2 felt much more secure when worn.
Sound quality, the Powerbeats Fit’s bass feels less punchy than the Beats Fit Pro, though the mids are slightly more open. As for the Powerbeats Pro 2, my first impression wasn’t great because the stock eartips were too loose but after switching to larger ones, the bass became noticeably stronger and punchier, and the soundstage felt wider and more immersive.
Still, I’ve seen several reviews saying the Pro 2 isn’t worth the price or feels like a minor refresh. So, for those who’ve been using the Powerbeats Pro 2 as your main earphones how’s your experience so far? Do you feel it was worth switching?
A compilation of a number of reviews that have been coming in since release:
The Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 are a strong upgrade over their predecessor, delivering excellent sound quality, a secure fit for workouts, and innovative heart rate monitoring features. While they excel in fitness applications, their utility may be diminished for those already using smartwatches and they come with a few drawbacks like a bulky case and some limitations in features compared to other premium earbuds.

Compared favorably to Apple AirPods Pro 2 with better sound but shortcomings in some features.
Competitively positioned against Sennheiser Momentum Sport with a robust heart rate monitoring functionality, although not as well-known for sound quality.
Contrast with Sony Linkbuds Fit are noted for their lower price but inferior sound quality.

I’ve been using the Beats Fit Pro for three years, and they’re still my everyday use. Great fit, solid ANC, and seamless with Apple devices. But when is Apple dropping the 2nd gen?
Would love to see better battery, ANC improvement AirPods Pro 2 features. Anyone else still using these and waiting for 2nd fen of Beats Fit Pro?
I’ve been an avid user of beats fit pro for the last 2 years and love them to death. Recently I’ve noticed beats is moving away from using apple designed chips like the H1 that was used in the first generation AirPods Pro’s. I was wondering if Beats would be releasing a second generation of the beats fit pro with the H2 chips to hopefully bring the features from the latest AirPods Pro to these old earphones that are so comfortable to wear and work out with all the time. Any insight to news is appreciated :)
Hello, I am seriously considering buying these earbuds due to Airpods Pro always popping put of my ears.
I have seen lots of people on reddit saying that there ear hooks teared off after 1 year of use and this is a common issue with the earbuds. Has this actually happened to you?
Is anyone here who has these earbuds for more than 2 years? Are they still in good condition?
Thanks in advance!!
