Since you placed the order online, we can look up your order. It will find the full order receipt, show when you purchased it, and how you paid. Unfortunately, none of this changes the return policy. You would be held to the policy that was in place at the time you made the purchase (which was 180 days then, not the 90 it is now) that would make the deadline June 2020, but then BBB added another 60 days to that window due to being closed for covid. So that made the deadline August 2020. You are now 2-3 months past that. The system will not allow a return. But for future information, you will be credited back from a refund however you originally paid, so in this case you would’ve received the money owed back to your credit card. Cash gets cash, gift cards get gift cards, etc. More on reddit.com

Hi I'm hoping a BB&B employee can answer my return question! In Dec 2019 I ordered about $120 worth of curtains from BB&B.com. Once I got them I decided they wouldn't match the decor in the room, but I never got around to returning them, and now I've had them 10 1/2 months. The return policy on the BB&B website says the return limit is 90 days, but it also says "if your purchase was made within the past year, we'll try to find a record of it using the original credit/debit card".
So, my questions are: 1) Can the store look up my purchase using my credit card, even though I bought the curtains online? and 2) If they look up the purchase on my credit card, would they refund the money back to the card, or would they just give me store credit? The curtains are brand-new, still in the original package, and the website shows that they are still being sold online at the same price.

the most they might do for you is do a no receipt return since its in original packaging and brand new and it would be 20% off the current price on a merch credit
