I’ve had Quince linen and percale cotton sheets for a few months. The linen sheets are nice for the price and a good entry point to linen for first timers. Soft and comfortable, but they do get a little linty so wool dryer balls are a must. The organic percale sheets are pretty run of the mill papery kind of percale. Found them very similar to supima percale sheets you can get at Target. Despite being labeled organic, they aren’t GOTS certified. Lots of fun color options though.

I JUST got a set of their bamboo sheets and wow. I’m already in love. Slept like a baby last night. Coming from target and amazon sheets so it’s a world of difference for me.

I LOVE the color combinations you can get with Bed Threads, but I keep hearing people say they wash them and they rip or come apart. Looking for a brand that might be tougher/last longer that offers some of the same beautiful colors. Thoughts?!

I have tried a handful of different linen companies, although I’ve never tried Bed Threads because of those issues you mentioned. The closest in color combos would probably be I Love Linen, which is an Australian brand. They’re not the softest out of the box, but they do soften over time and I find them to be incredibly long lasting. Like, I’ve used their sheets for multiple years and have never dealt with holes. On my bed right now, I have a Quince fitted sheet and a Cultiver duvet cover/pillows. Cultiver is so soft, so luxurious, with great color options but because it’s pre-washed, I’m curious to see how long they’ll last. Quince is so far so good, they also have a bunch of color options but I’m hesitant to recommend them just yet because I’m definitely worried about how the fitted sheet will hold up especially because they are so much cheaper. As an aside - one thing I’ve learned that with linen fitted sheets, you really have to rotate them. If you use the same one constantly, they’ll eventually rip. This is why I’m using Quince as my cheap fitted sheet and not Cultiver, lol. Do I rotate mine? No. Have I definitely had some nice linen sheets rip? Yes. Don’t be like me!

Hi!! So as the title suggests I’m looking for an alternative to Brooklinen sheets/pillowcases - somewhere around the same price. I originally ordered from Brooklinen and they completely fucked me over (horrible experience that I can expand on if anyone’s interested, lol). I would really love linens but don’t think I can justify spending $300+ for sheets (bed threads), and I haven’t been able to find more affordable options other than some dubious sellers on Etsy. If you guys have any leads I’d appreciate it!!
Edit: not sure if anyone will see this or not but thank you for all the suggestions!!! I ended up getting the Casaluna 100% linen sheet set from Target in the rust color. Really surprised to see linens at target but it was nice to actually be able to feel them rather than just ordering online. I really like them so far!! They were $159 for a queen so a little more than the Brooklinen ones but I think it’ll be worth it. Yay thanks again everyone!

Nothing beats west elms brushed tencel sheets and tencel duvet, I’ve tried Brooklinen and they don’t even come close to the softness!! But if you MUST have linen then 🤷🏻♀️

Obsessed with these colors, but read not so great things about the brand (bedthreads). Does anyone know where I can find similar colors to these two? The terracotta I’m seeing on other sites is more rusty orange but I like this more muted version. Thank you to anyone with any ideas!

My experience with Bed Threads has been positive. The colors are saturated, which I like, and the nap of the linen feels a bit heavier than Quince. I have Quince too but BT's colors seem brighter, at least to me. Quince is much cheaper, tho. Good luck!
