Hello. I'm finally going to buy something to get myself elevated while I sleep so I can hopefully get off the PPIs. I am debating between a huge wedge that goes under the entire mattress (such as https://www.amazon.com/Avana-Mattress-Elevator-Incline-Support/dp/B077KHHG7K?th=1) or a wedge pillow (such as https://medcline.com/products/medcline-reflux-relief-system).
I'm curious to hear from anyone who has either (or similar) product. Do you like it? Do you wish you'd bought the other product instead? I think one big advantage the pillow has is that I can take it with me if I'm traveling. Another concern with the under-mattress option is that while I'm single, I may have someone over at some point and we may have sex. Would having one end of the mattress elevated 7 inches be awkward/uncomfortable/weird for them? Would I possibly need to put the under-matress incline in the closet before, and then put it back before bed? Thoughts?
Also, does anyone have recommendations for pillows such as I linked that are cheaper but just as good? Thank you all

So sometimes I eat late at night and end up aspirating in my sleep which is incredibly unpleasant. My lungs burn terribly. The taste is awful. I lose sleep and it's just awful. I wake up coughing and can't fall back to sleep for like an hour. My work hours make it difficult to not eat late at night and I'm trying to get better at it.
I've read foam wedges could help but they're kind of expensive. Have any of you had any luck with them?
I want to get one or the other. Would rather stay away from the bed post risers. I have a u-shaped pregnancy pillow I use and have been stacking two pillows under it from head to waist for last month. It’s really uncomfortable and I want something that I can just use my pregnancy pillow with.
With the wedge pillow I’m concerned about having a crimp in my side and causing spine problems as well as sliding down since I already have that issue with the pillows.
With the full mattress wedge I’m concerned about spending so much money and it not being effective I guess. How bad do you slide down on it? Is 5” enough or do you need 7”?
Also does lucid have fiberglass in it? I kept seeing reviews on Amazon about fiberglass and that’s a huge concern for me and for my cat who likes to play under the bed. Company is saying they don’t use it but a lot of reviewers and people on TikTok are showing fiberglass all over their stuff under the bed and health issues.
Last few nights I’ve been using gaviscon advance to sleep flat. I just want to be able to sleep flat and not having to uncomfortably prop up straining my neck and back.
