Have used the same Hotel Collection duvet, fitted, and pillow cases for way too long and they were still perfect in terms of quality, however, stains started to show so I wanted to replace them. I figured just buying a new set of everything in Hotel Collection would be of the same quality but I was sadly mistaken. The sheets no longer felt like that silky, cohesive cotton, instead, feeling crispy and gapped in the threads. I tried their 500. 600. 800, and 1000 thread count and all were TERRIBLE.

So I ask you, experts of bedding, is there anything like the Hotel Collection sheets of the past? I've looked through Macy's site and it's impossible to find exactly what I'm looking for - just want a silky, cotton sheet and would love them to be under $300. TY
