Yes. Buying a “wooden” bed is already a sustainable choice due to the fact that nearly all our timber is sourced from sustainable suppliers where the forests are re-planted. As a company, we are very passionate about the environment and strive to lower our carbon footprint, with such efforts as only using 100% renewable electricity and providing electric car charging points in our car park. We also work with the International Tree Foundation (ITF) to plant new trees in Africa to support local communities. You can also donate to this effort on the checkout and our live tree counter is shown at the top of the website.

Our stains and seals are all water based, these all come with a rating of nil to low toxicity to plant life and fish.

Yes, always, as every bed is handcrafted to order so this is never an issue. Our manufacturing process is very unique. In fact we are yet to find a bed manufacturer who can do this faster than us - in the world! However we do charge a premium for speed as it’s a bit more complicated, so do check our delivery calendar.
