I am looking to repaint a room but I don't want to spend a fortune on paint. I am looking to go with a light yellow over a blue/green color. I can either buy paint with primer in it or buy primer separately. I've heard Sherwin Williams make great paint at a decent price. Looking for any recommendations!

Brand doesn't matter so much, but don't buy the cheapest line of any paint brand. I use SW BM Regal Select in my house, but Behr and Benjamin Moore SW make great products as well. Paint + Primer is not as good as separate products. If you need to prime (bare drywall, joint compound, or drastic color change), use a primer first as it's much cheaper than paint, and will give your paint a better surface to adhere to. Prep work is 90% of painting. Make sure you fill all holes, sand smooth, and clean all dust off the walls before painting and you'll be good to go.
