I really love the look of the Beis diaper bag backpack (the one that looks more like a duffle back backpack) but I’m wary because of the reviews about the zipper being awful.
Are there any bags of similar style that are actually good quality? I love the way it opens so wide like a purse/duffle bag but is still a backpack.
I feel like I’ve searched far and wide and when I think I’ve found something I find tons of bad reviews and need help making a decision! I considered the skip hop bag that looks similar but people said the straps hurt and I’m not willing to be in pain.

Hi Everyone!
Hopefully I’m asking this in the right group, and hopefully what I’m asking about exists.
I’m going to be a first time mom this year and have spent countless hours like many researching and comparing all the different products. For a diaper bag I really liked the Beis Ultimate Diaper Backpack but ending up deciding to go for something a little smaller in size for now and then possibly splurging when we have our second require more storage. However, one thing about the Beis that I really liked and thought would be beneficial were the stinkbag/waterproof pouches for dirty clothes. I originally thought, hey, I am sure I can find those on amazon and just purchase them separately…. After several hours, nothing. I dont know if I’m using the wrong key words or if this is exclusive to Beis, but I’m hoping someone has either found something similar that they like and use for their diaper bag or may know were to look.
Thank you for any help and suggestions in advance!

I use dog poop bags for dirty diapers/clothes on the go. I’ll double bag the offending item and put it in the diaper bag til I can deal with it.

I’m not familiar with the Beis bag, so I might be confused about what you’re talking about, but I think you’re just looking for a wet bag. They’re waterproof and washable. October 31, 2023 - It came with a lot of accessories, tons of storage and doesn’t look like a traditional diaper bag. The only con I have is that I don’t love the stroller straps. They’re a hassle to use, so I just don’t bother ... Yes, it did! Also came with a pacifier holder, a teething bracelet, changing pad and pouch. I realized my previous comment should have said “I don’t love the stroller straps”🤦🏻♀️ Continue this thread Continue this thread ... I use the Beis Expandable Backpack as my diaper bag since it has lots of pockets for organization and can be used as a regular backpack in the future.

I saw the Beis one at winners today (the ultimate diaper backpack), and I noticed it’s very wide and boxy, and would be very bulky for a petite person. The zippers are also cheap feeling. I haven’t seen the Lulu one in person, but knowing the quality of their other products I feel like it might be the better choice.

We have the LuLu one and love it. It doesn’t have insulation so we just bought a small Skip Hop bottle bag and I honestly prefer that. It has a mesh pocket for the ice pack and I know the bottles are staying cold in the bag!

There are so many threads out there on diaper bags/backpacks. I was going to get the updated Beis one but it’s been out of stock for months. So I decided to look at other options and came across the Away Featherlight diaper backpack and it looks pretty good too. Has anyone used it? It’s pretty new it seems because I can’t find any reviews online of it yet.

If it's something you haven't considered, pick one that you like the look of, and that will work with your wardrobe, because it's going to replace your purse until you potty train. I have an Itsy Ritsy bag, I love it, but would have picked something else if I didn't have relatives in the states to bring it across the border for me.
