My in-car Qi charger is very very slow so I will happily use this. But I get it isn’t for everyone. Ah, but it’s not twice the speed. As the review showed, the power input was 14W. Then take say 20% efficiency and you’re down to 11W. When the iPhone gets hot, you’d be back to the 7.5W you get with a cheap MagSafe style knockoff charger. Hardly work the money. ... I like Belkin products, but have been having outstanding experience with official Apple magsafe charger and a clip that goes into my cd player.

December 17, 2020 - The mount may be "lightweight" but it protrudes so far out from the mount point on my car's vent that with my iPhone Pro attached it's enough to make my vents swing in whichever direction I turn the car (and thus the phone flying). This is a terrible product. ... Just seems pretty redundant without charging capabilities. The point of a magsafe mount is surely to provide ease of attachment without unnecessary fiddling. It defeats the point if I have to attach and remove a cable each and every time I want to move the phone. I would rather Belkin had focused their efforts on releasing their 3-in-1 MagSafe charger before Christmas.

April 16, 2021 - In fact, there are no officially-sanctioned MagSafe car chargers. Instead, there is this Belkin Car Vent Mount PRO with MagSafe, which, as the name suggests, allows you to mount a phone to your vents with MagSafe, in, um, a professional way. However, it does not charge your phone. I have been using a review unit of the Belkin Car Vent Mount PRO with MagSafe, or BCVMPwM, for a couple months now.
