So the one which they apply and provide at the Apple Store is Belkin UltraGlass 2 screen protector, I’ve heard that it’s bit sharp at edges and without using a case it will be a bad experience. I was planning on using a case anyway (UGREEN MagSafe Clear, with military grade protection), so should I get this screen protector although it’s bit expensive? As long as it’s very strong and provides good protection I don’t mind it, or should I consider other third party ones?

I’m using spigen….its like 16 dollars for 2….all I really need it for is so that it doesn’t get scratched…..heads up though some screen protectors with the black outer edge will block part of your screen. try avoiding those.

Ive never used a screen protector on any phone or device. Just treat them well. If you are concerned about cracks, get a better case.

I purchased my Belkin screen protector for my new iPhone 17 at the Apple Store, in part because of Belkin's good name and in part because they had a little machine at the store to install for me, so I could avoid the hassle. It was a bit expensive at $40 plus tax compared to others I could buy online, but I figured what the hey! Well, two corners cracked within 2 months and a thin line crack began to breakout across the middle of the glass also. I went back to the Apple Store and said, hey bud. The guy beamed and said the warranty is for 2 years. Just fill out the Belkin form online. Easy as that. But when I tried to fill out the form, I needed the receipt, and when I went online to find the receipt, it said I should contact the store where I bought it. But not only had I contacted the store, I did it in person. Certainly, since the guy (who seemed like a manager of some kind) knew how to enact the warranty, he must have known I would need the receipt and that I would be sent to him to find it. Anyway, screw this fake warranty. Bottom line is that the glass broke faster than the last no-big-name iPhone screen cover I purchased for $10, which NEVER broke in 5 years.

When recommending screen protectors I always go with the EZFIT Spigen or the ESR. ESR is like a frame that helps you install it. Spigen is like a press machine that helps do it seem lessly. The Spigen is. Or was at the time the most sold screen protector on Amazon
